Northern Scottish Touring Fund

 

The Northern Scottish Touring Fund is a consortium led interactive fund which not only awards production and touring grants to performing companies but also assists the selected projects with marketing (social networking, printing and distribution), providing and co-ordinating tour dates and supporting local promoters with guarantees against loss.

The NSTF managing consortium consists of HITN (Highlands and Islands Theatre Network) (representing 23 theatre and dance companies and venues) PAN (Promoters Arts Network for the Highlands and Islands), NEAT (North East Arts Touring), and HI~Arts (Highland arts promotion agency in Inverness).

 NSTF is funded by Creative Scotland/Scottish Arts Council Rural Innovation Fund, and Highlands and Islands Enterprise, matched with Scottish Government and European Community Highland, Cairngorm Local Action Group, Rural Aberdeenshire  and Moray LEADER 2007-2013 programmes.

In the first round, only PAN Venues in Highland and Moray LEADER area and NEAT venues in Rural Aberdeenshire and Moray LEADER areas will be eligible to host touring companies. 

The deadline for the first round of applications is August 20th.
